“I worried most that I’d be viewed as a person who picks fights. Some ask why I actively create quarrels or borrow trouble. What I actually want is peace. My belief in peace is why I gather the courage to speak up that things are unjust and discriminating, and I’m considered a person who intentionally arouses conflict. Someone who lives for dispute. To be truthful, my suspicion and alertness of public harassment on the streets or in subways derives from my own experience. And they still think I’m just picking fights by finding inessential faults.”
