The Hillary Project aims to ruin the reputation of Hillary Clinton who has a great chance of becoming the next president in the 2016 election and to ask her to “stay home.” The group’s website released “Slap Hillary,” a controversial online game.

Clinton has not announced her future plans to run for the 2016 presidential election. Nevertheless, Clinton super PACs which describe themselves as “non-profit, non-partisan, advocacy committees” have already begun attracting support. Individuals and diverse organizations are allowed to contribute freely to political action committees that are independent of political candidates. The U.S. elections are hugely affected by unlimited amounts of super PAC money.

A case in point is the Hillary Project, led by Christopher M. Marston, a Republican campaign finance consultant and former member of the Bush administration. The Republican anti-Clinton super PAC has the catchy motto “The Only Thing Standing Between Hillary and the White House.” The group is dedicated to expose the whole truth about Hillary. It has even launched an online signature campaign to stop her from becoming the next president. According to group’s webpage, “Hillary Clinton – the name alone strikes dead in the hearts of freedom loving Americans. If left unabated, she has an excellent chance of becoming our next president. Our Goal : 20,000,000 signatures to tell Hillary to stay home! SIGN NOW.”

Recently, the Hillary Project has released several online games including “Slap Hillary,” “Dancing Hillary,” and “Street Fight” in which you are allowed to slap an animated image of Hillary Clinton, control her dance moves, and make her fight President Obama, respectively. The group excitedly tweeted to reporters, “Have you slapped Hillary today?”

Although it is still 3 years before the next presidential election and Hillary has not officially announced her candidacy, super PACs have already made moves: "Ready For Hillary” and “Hillary Project” opened their websites. Some concern that super PACs have ratcheted up heat in election campaigns. Women’s groups criticized “Slap Hillary” only promotes violence against women. Feministing, a feminist blog, condemned that the game is “chauvinistic” and that “It is outrageous how some GOP proponents are actually encouraging people to smack the former secretary of state.” The blog highlighted that it was the Republicans who blocked the Violence Against Women Act.
