민주당 신낙균 의원(국회 여성위원장, 외교통상통일위원회)은 대외무상원조(ODA) 사업에서의 성주류화 확대방안을 고민하는 정책토론회를 지난 8월 27일 개최했다. 장필화 이화여대 여성학과 교수의 사회로 진행된 이 토론회에서는 김은미 이화여대 국제대학원 교수의 ‘OECD/DAC의 성평등 가이드라인과 한국의 ODA 현황’, 정혜선 전 한국여성정책연구원 전문연구원의 ‘우리나라 무상원조의 성인지적 분석’의 주제발표가 이뤄졌다. 신 위원장은 토론회에서 나온 의견을 토대로 9월 정기국회에서 ODA 사업의 성주류화를 위한 정책건의 및 입법활동을 전개할 계획이라고 밝혔다.
