The ideology of the paper is reflected in its various projects and promotional activities.

The Prize for Egalitarian Couples was established to promote democracy in the personal lives of married couples by exemplifying couples who regard each other with respect and consideration. The prize has been awarded six times.

The publication The Women's News is a sub-organization actively involved in publishing books that deal mainly with women's issues. It has published several steady bestsellers including Herstory Iˇ¤II, Foundation Funds 72,000 won, Time to Strike the Enter Key, Frankly I Like Money, Happiness, How Much Is It?, and The Diary of Banzok's Family.

The Women's News also supports the Association for the Development of Culture, which consists of the Assembly for Ensuring Sound Culture and the Cultural Service Group. The mission of the association is to organize cultural events that can improve the quality of life for people from all walks of life in Korean society.
The Assembly for Ensuring Sound Culture is made up of artists who specialize in various forms of culture and the arts. They continue to promote their goal of sound culture through regular workshops. The Cultural Service Group is the first organization of its kind to promote the arts in Korea. It is composed of various artists and their sponsors, and aims to spread culture to isolated communities that do not have the benefit of locally sponsored cultural performances and events.

The Women's Media Network was founded in 1998 with the aim of realizing feminism in journalism, establishing gender equality in the media, and promoting the rights of women involved in the media. The Women's Media Network holds monthly discussions on specific issues with a panel of related experts, organizes the Information Forum for media professionals based on the theme of digital media and women, criticizes the media from a feminist point of view, and provides education for media workers.

The Women's News is also commissioned with running the House for Working Women, currently under the Ministry of Labor and scheduled to move to the Ministry of Women's Affairs. The House is an education center for women in each province, providing vocational and cultural education for the development of women's personal capabilities. It also acts as a job agency and offers counselling for women.
